Love Serenade, written by first time writer, Shirley Barrett, is an Australian comedy that follows a romantic triangle between a disc jockey and two sisters, Vicki and Dimity Hurley. The two sisters grow very tired of the mediocrity of the small city that they live in and become excited about the colorful nature of Ken Sherry, a former radio host. Sherry is dealing with some economic hardship and stress. He's very delighted to meet the two sisters who brighten his day each time he sees them.

The story begins to unfold as Vicki focuses on grabbing Sherry's attention in a seductive manner, which challenges her sister to do the same. Dimity finds herself successfully being the first to draw more of Sherry's attention which creates friction between the two sisters. Sherry soon finds himself torn between his attraction for the duo. The film looks at the drama between the two sisters in a comedic manner.

The film stars George Shevtsov as Ken Sherry, Miranda Otto as Dimity Hurley and Rebecca Firth as Vicki-Ann Hurley. The story is a comedic and dramatic adventure as the sisters adamantly pursue Sherry.
