"I'm in love!" Emily announces to her friends, the middle-aged couple Abby and Graham. The problem is, Emily's new boyfriend Stuart is in high school and Emily, 30, is old enough to know better. And the other problem is that Graham is madly in love with Emily. He's so in love, he's planning on ditching Abby and buying a second home for he and Emily to live in together. Except he hasn't told Emily yet. Or Abby. Maladaptive is the story of how a group of people continue to make the same mistakes throughout their love lives, even though they know better.
