Malice is a suspenseful and thrilling movie that was released in 1993. Directed by Harold Becker, this movie follows the story of a young surgeon named Dr. Jed Hill, played by Alec Baldwin, who moves to a new town with his wife Tracy, played by Nicole Kidman. Their lives take a turn when they become embroiled in a series of mysterious and gruesome events that leave them questioning who they can trust.

The movie begins with Dr. Hill teaching a class of medical students where he introduces them to a case study of a patient who had a botched surgery. Dr. Hill uses this case study to emphasize the importance of taking responsibility for one's actions, but we soon learn that he is not as responsible as he would like others to believe.

Dr. Hill's life takes a dark turn when his wife Tracy is attacked and raped in their home. While the police investigate the crime, Dr. Hill discovers a deadly tumor in a patient and decides to operate without the patient's consent. The operation is successful, but the patient dies hours later, and Dr. Hill is blamed for his death.

As if things couldn't get any worse, Tracy finds out that she is pregnant and may have cancer. Dr. Hill faces a malpractice lawsuit and realizes that he may lose his medical license. He begins to spiral out of control and becomes convinced that the same person who attacked Tracy is now after him.

The suspense intensifies when a young girl is admitted to the hospital and later dies after undergoing surgery performed by Dr. Hill. He becomes the prime suspect in her death, and the police begin to investigate him. The investigation uncovers shocking secrets about Dr. Hill's past, and the audience is left wondering if he is guilty of the crimes he is accused of.

The plot thickens when a man named Andy, played by Bill Pullman, enters the picture. Andy is a former patient of Dr. Hill's who has a grudge against him and becomes determined to bring him down. Andy teams up with Detective Dana Harris, played by Anne Bancroft, to investigate Dr. Hill and his past.

As the investigation continues, the audience is thrown into a frenzy of twists and turns that keep them on the edge of their seats. Malice is a movie that will keep you guessing until the very end.

One of the strengths of this movie is the stellar cast. Alec Baldwin delivers a powerful performance as the arrogant and self-centered Dr. Hill. Nicole Kidman also shines as Tracy Hill, a woman who is struggling to cope with the trauma of the attack and her uncertain future.
