Things take a new turn when Janaki's husband is murdered, and Raja is the prime suspect. He is arrested by the police, and the entire town turns against him. Rani, who believes in her husband's innocence, starts investigating the case on her own. She gets help from Raja's friend (Mansoor Ali Khan), who is a lawyer.
The rest of the movie revolves around how Rani proves Raja's innocence and catches the real culprit. The movie has some exciting twists and turns that keep the audience engaged until the end.
The performances of Mammootty and Devayani are outstanding. Mammootty has portrayed the character of Raja with great sincerity and brings out the emotions of the character very well. Devayani has done justice to her role as Rani, and her chemistry with Mammootty is excellent.
The supporting cast has also done a good job, especially Mansoor Ali Khan, who provides some comic relief to the movie. The music of the movie composed by Deva is good, and the songs are melodious.
The direction by KS Ravikumar is excellent. He has used the talents of Mammootty and Devayani to full potential and has brought out the best in them. The screenplay is well-written, and the movie's pace is just right.
