Melvin Purvis: G-Man is a crime biography film that was released in 1974. Melvin Purvis was a FBI agent who was given the task of bringing Machine Gun Kelly to justice. Machine Gun Kelly was a Chicago mobster who was known for his ability to write his name with a machine gun, and was involved in many incidents of fighting between gangsters. Melvin Purvis was able to track down the notorious gangster, and was able to eventually take on the gangster in a gun battle. Melvin Purvis: G-Man was directed by Dan Curtis, and features performances by Dale Robertson, Harris Yulin, and Dick Sargent.
