My Baby is Missing is a dramatic thriller directed by Neill Fearnley, and written by Don Nelson. The film focuses on career woman Jenna Davis (Gina Philips). Jenna has always put her career in front of everything, even relationships. However, nearly ready to give birth, Jenna has changed her priorities, and is looking forward to motherhood. Soon after Jenna learns she is being promoted to vice-president at her advertising agency, she is also informed she must go on bedrest. Since the child's father is not in Jenna's life, her doctor suggests she hire a nurse to help her at home. Jenna takes her doctor's advice and hires Lynn Mallory (Ellie Harvie). Jenna is impressed with Lynn when they meet, and she immediately feels comfortable with her. When Jenna is having a hard time sleeping, Lynn offers her some vitamins that Lynn claims will make her feel better. Later that day, Jenna wakes up in the hospital, and hospital staff tells her she delivered a stillborn daughter. Unable to wrap her mind around what has happened, Jenna immediately suspects something is wrong. When Jenna asks to speak to her at-home nurse, she is told there is no nurse by that name. Jenna's suspicions grown when she is later told her daughter's lifeless body was accidentally cremated before Jenna got to see her. Jenna confides in the baby's father, Tom Robbins (Warren Christie), that she thinks her daughter was stolen by her nurse. Tom believes Jenna, and agrees to help her investigate. However, before Jenna and Tom can begin their own investigation, Detective Dana Hoch (Anna Galvin) accuses Jenna of killing her baby to ensure she was able to protect her new promotion. With Detective Hoch breathing down Jenna's neck, Tom and Jenna decide to leave town in order to find out exactly what happened to their daughter, and who is responsible for it.
