My Mother is Arb is a classic Cambodian horror film. It is based on the Cambodian ledgend of the Arp, a beautiful but evil spirit that disguises itself as a young woman. A little boy lives with his mother in a big house that is far away from other people. One day he discovers his mother's secret, that she is an Arp, an evil spirit, and becomes afraid. Initially he is afraid that she might kill him at any time and continues to try to hide the fact that he knows her secret. Over time he begins to be afraid that other people will discover the secret.
