Outlaw Trail: The Treasure of Butch Cassidy

The fate of Robert Leroy Parker, also known as Butch Cassidy, who disappeared in South America with his partner Harry Longabaugh, the Sundance Kid, is one of the romanticized legends of the American West. This film imagines what would happen if one of Cassidy’s descendents found out about a treasure of hidden gold left by the outlaw. In this film, young Roy Parker searches for the fortune aided by his friend Jess. Obvious comparisons are made with Roy’s famous ancestor as the pair embarks on a quest for the gold.
