Launched in 2006, The Foursome is an American comedy movie revolving around four college buddies who meet again at their 2-decade school reunion. The movie cast includes Kevin Dillon, John Shaw, Chris Gauthier, and Paul Jarrett. The storyline is inspired by the hit play from Norm Foster. The plot begins when Rick, Cameron, Donnie and Ted attend their reunion party after 20 years from graduating. Upon introducing themselves, it is learned that Cameron, Ted, and Donnie are all married. Rick, on the other hand, is with his girlfriend who says she has no plans of marrying Rick as she doesn't see any commitment in their relationship. Cameron got married to his high-school girlfriend, Lori, while Ted got separated, yet remarried again to another woman 20 years younger than Ted's age. Following the reunion, the four buddies reunite on a golf course. They decide to play golf with some side bets to make the game more interesting and competitive. Rick and Donnie pair up versus Cameron and Ted. During the first five 9 holes, Rick and Donnie win. Soon afterwards, Rick tells his friends that he has been hustling them and has been playing for a long time now. With the first game ending, Cameron tells Ted that he cannot pay the $2,500 they wagered on the game. Instead of telling the truth, Ted tells Rick they want a rematch, making the game another 18 holes for double the bet. They would play with their original groups and start even. The night after their competitive golf game, Donnie finds Rick and the drunk wife of Cameron. The two gets into a stock room and Lori leaves while putting her underwear into her bag. Donnie immediately speculates that Rick and Lori are having an affair. During their second match, Donnie spills out what he saw. Cameron walks out while Rick explains that they weren't having sex, so the accusation was dropped.
