Outlaw is an action crime drama that was written and directed by Nick Love, featuring Sean Bean, Lennie James, Bob Hoskins, Rupert Friend and Danny Dyer. The story follows a number of different people who reside around London, each of whom has had negative experiences that have led them to think that the country does not handle justice fairly among the people. For example, Gene Dekker (played by Danny Dyer) is a professional who is beaten violently for no reason while on his way to his own wedding. Danny Bryant (played by Sean Bean), a paratrooper, comes back from Iraq to find his wife with another man and believes that the country is worse off than ever. Cedric Munroe (played by Lennie James) is a prosecution barrister whose pregnant wife is threatened. Unless he ends a case against a heroin dealer and club owner Terry Manning (played by Rob Fry), it is a sure bet that his wife and unborn child will be killed. Manning is an underworld boss under scrutiny for numerous crimes. Sandy Mardell (played by Rupert Friend) is a university student at Cambridge and the son of a former commanding officer. Recently having left the hospital, thugs have scarred his face for life after an attack. The thugs were released from jail before he even had the chance to make a full recovery. Simon Hillier (played by Sean Harris) knows the men and unites them to create a vigilante task force that targets those believed to be a cancer on society. The men go to work on all of the targets connected to Manning since the thugs made good on their threat to kill his wife and unborn baby. Finally, when Manning is in the midst of a drug deal in the street, Dekker appears, lying in wait. Once the other party drives off, Dekker confronts Manning and shoots him dead.
