In the movie Cleanskin, Sean Bean plays Ewan, a British secret service agent tasked with tracking down and stopping a group of terrorists. The group is led by Ash (Abhin Galeya), a young man who becomes a 'cleanskin' - a term used to describe an undercover terrorist with no prior history of committing any crimes. Ash's mission is to carry out a series of coordinated bombings across London, and it's up to Ewan to stop him before he can carry out his deadly plan.

As Ewan delves deeper into the world of counter-terrorism, he discovers that Ash is not the only 'cleanskin' operating in London. A female agent, played by Charlotte Rampling, informs Ewan that there are several other undercover terrorists who have not yet been identified. Ewan also learns that the group he is tracking is being funded and armed by a wealthy Arab businessman, who is determined to bring destruction to London in revenge for the deaths of his family in a drone attack.

As the clock ticks down towards Ash's planned attack, Ewan must navigate a web of conflicting information and intrigue in order to find and stop the terrorists. He is forced to work alongside his former mentor, who he believes is trying to sabotage his mission, and he becomes increasingly isolated and paranoid as the pressure builds.

Throughout the movie, there are several gripping action sequences as Ewan and his team try to foil the terrorists' plans. The fight scenes are intense and gritty, and there are several moments where characters are put in mortal danger. The film also explores the emotional and psychological toll of counter-terrorism work, with Ewan struggling to come to terms with the atrocities he witnesses, and the weight of responsibility on his shoulders.

One of the most striking aspects of Cleanskin is its portrayal of Ash as a sympathetic character. The audience learns about his backstory and his reasons for becoming a terrorist, which adds depth and complexity to his character. Abhin Galeya's performance as Ash is excellent - he is able to convey both the vulnerability and the determination of his character with great skill.

Sean Bean is also fantastic in the lead role of Ewan. He brings a quiet intensity to the character, and is able to convey a great deal of emotion without saying a word. He has some powerful scenes towards the end of the movie where he must confront his own mortality and make a difficult decision about how to proceed.

Charlotte Rampling provides a strong supporting performance as the female agent who helps Ewan. She is able to convey a sense of cynicism and disillusionment with the world of counter-terrorism, and her interactions with Ewan provide an interesting counterpoint to his idealism and dedication.

Overall, Cleanskin is a gripping and intense thriller that explores the murky world of counter-terrorism. It has a strong cast, excellent action sequences, and a thought-provoking story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. If you're a fan of films like Body of Lies or The Bourne Ultimatum, you'll definitely want to check out Cleanskin.
