Gerarad Butler plays the role of George the coach of his soccer team; Jessica Biel plays the role of Stacie one of the soccer moms’; Catherine Zeta-Jones plays the role of Denise and a soccer mom; Judy Greer plays the role of Barb and soccer mom; Uma Thurman plays the role of Patti and soccer mom; Dennis Quaid plays the role of Carl, Noah Lomax plays the role of Lewis and James Tupper plays the role of Matt. George at one time played professional soccer for the United States team. He decides to come home to try to win back his son. In doing so he becomes the coach to his son’s soccer team and learns to become a dad. He wants to be the adult and dad that his son can be proud of especially around his son’s soccer friends. Unfortunately, the soccer mom’s on the team are making the job harder than he imagines. Their flirtatious remarks, clothing and team spirit have him at a disadvantage when George’s goal is his son. George makes some silly statements making the soccer mom’s to pursue him even more on and off the soccer field. George finds it harder to resist all the challenges of the opposite sex and his weakness eventually leads him to become more than friends with one of the soccer moms.
