Quigley is a 2003 comedic family film. Like many films that have come before it, Quigley is part of the family of stories that centers around wicked characters who are magically given a second chance for redemption. In this particular case, the antagonistic protagonist takes the form of a cruel prank-loving, mean spirited, horrible billionaire. Early in the movie, the billionaire dies. As fate would have it, the Universe then decided to intervene and he was allowed to return to Earth but not in the same form in which he left it. In a flurry of karmic retribution, the man is forced to live the life of an adorable, tiny lap dog. While at first, the bitter man is desperate to continue living his life as he once enjoyed, he is soon forced to face his inner demons and his past mistakes in order to become a better person.
