Raging Phoenix is a film about Deu, a girl who is saved from abduction by three martial art masters. It was released in 2009 and directed by Rashane Limtrakul. Other actors in the film include Kazu Patrick Tang as Sanim, Nui Saendaeng as Kee Moo, Sompong Lertwimonkaisom as Kee Ma and Boonprasayrit Salangam as Kee Kwai. Raging Phoenix features Thai martial arts choreographed by Panna Rittikrai. Jija Yanin plays Deu, a girl saved from abduction by three masters of a drunken style of martial arts. The style is a fictional variation of Muay Thai that looks a lot like Capoeira, a graceful, dance-like martial art. Deu convinces the three masters to teach her their form of martial arts. Through her newfound talents, Deu goes on a quest to save other women who are being similarly abducted. The movie unfolds with wild fight scenes and crazy stunts. It’s an action-packed and exciting movie. Raging Phoenix received high praise for its writing and choreographed fight scenes. This is the second film actress Jija Yanin has made.
