Watch Reviving Ophelia

With a name like Reviving Ophelia, fans of Shakespeare’s Hamlet might expect a new take on the classic from the female perspective. However, what actually occurs is a dramatic story (which takes its story from a non-fiction book of the same name) in which a young girl is the victim of intense physical abuse from her boyfriend. Those around her try to help, however the teenager refuses to see his actions as anything but an act of love.
