Watch Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky

The Story of Ricky takes place in 2001, focusing on a martial artist and former music student, Ricky Ho, who has been sentenced to 10 years in a maximum prison for killing a crime lord who had murdered Ricky's girlfriend. As the story progresses, Ricky later finds out that an infamous gang known as the Gang of Four is planning on growing opium for a profit. Ricky then decides to set their opium poppy garden on fire, adding some unwanted attention to the gang, causing them to go for an all-out brawl. On the following day, the son of one of the wardens informs them of a few things that had taken a turn for the worst, including the poppy garden incident. The warden immediately gets infuriated about this and is escorted to Ricky's cell for questioning. As soon as the warden begins to question Ricky, an inmate named Tarzan busts into the room with brute force, ready to fight Ricky. Ricky defeats Tarzan and the warden activates a trap to crush Ricky. As the ceiling is slowly coming down on Ricky, Tarzan regains his consciousness from the attack and decides to sacrifice himself for Ricky. The warden finds out that Ricky survived the ceiling trap and makes an offer with Ricky. If he survives by staying put underground, chained in a cell for at least a week, the warden will consider setting him free. A week passes by and the warden doesn't free Ricky, even though he survived. Ricky breaks out, freeing himself from his chains and Ricky fights anyone that gets in his way, fighting his way out to freedom. Ricky finds the warden and fights him, only finding out that the warden is also a martial artist who can transform into a hideous monster who is ready to crush Ricky. Ricky quickly kills the mutated warden by throwing him into a meat grinder and frees the other prisoners.
