Ryde is a 2017 thriller movie directed and co-written by Brian Frank Visciglia. The movie stars David Wachs, Jessica Serfaty, and Ronnie Alvarez in lead roles. The movie revolves around a new ride-sharing service called Ryde, which connects passengers with drivers who are willing to offer them a ride. Among the drivers is Paul (David Wachs), a creepy and socially awkward man who seems to have a sinister motive behind each ride.

Paul is a serial killer who lures his Ryde passengers into his car, drugs them, and brutally murders them. His latest victim is Jasmine (Jessica Serfaty), a young woman who is just looking for a ride home after a night out. As the ride progresses, Paul becomes more and more ominous, and Jasmine realizes that she might not make it out alive.

The tension and suspense build up as the audience watches Paul's every move and sees the terror in Jasmine's eyes. Meanwhile, Paul's girlfriend, Amanda (Hannah Barefoot), who also happens to be his accomplice, helps him cover up his tracks and dispose of the bodies.

As the story progresses, we see glimpses of Paul's traumatic past and how it has shaped him into the monster he is today. The flashbacks to his childhood explain his obsession with death and the macabre.

The movie has a gritty and realistic feel to it, with minimal use of special effects and a focus on character development. David Wachs delivers a chilling performance as the twisted and disturbed Paul, while Jessica Serfaty portrays Jasmine's fear and desperation in a convincing manner.

Although the film has a slow pace, it is intentional and adds to the tension and suspense. The movie's ending is satisfying and concludes the story in an unpredictable yet fitting manner.

Overall, Ryde is a well-crafted thriller that keeps the audience on edge until the very end. The movie's strong performances and attention to detail make it a memorable experience.

Ryde is a 2017 thriller with a runtime of 1 hour and 25 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.9.
