Saatwan Aasman is a Bollywood romance drama movie from 1992 starring Vivek Mushran, Pooja Bhatt, and Avtar Gill. It was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Tahir Hussain. The storyline follows the life of Mangal Singh, a retired army officer who lives a peaceful life in a small town with his wife and daughter. Mangal Singh is known for his honesty and strong values in the town. His daughter, Mahi, who is a happy-go-lucky girl, falls in love with Ajay Kapoor, a wealthy businessman from Mumbai. Ajay is also smitten with Mahi's beauty and innocence and proposes to her. Mangal Singh, being a traditional father, has his doubts about Ajay's sincerity and feels that Mahi's future is at stake.

The plot thickens when Mahi decides to elope with Ajay, and they get married against Mangal Singh's wishes. Mangal is furious when he finds out, and he disowns Mahi. Ajay takes Mahi to Mumbai, where she is introduced to a lavish lifestyle, but soon realizes that Ajay is not what he seems to be. Ajay has a hidden agenda and uses Mahi for his own selfish motives. Meanwhile, Mahi starts missing her family and the simple way of life.

Back in the small town, Mangal Singh is devastated and feels betrayed by his daughter. He starts to fall ill, and the local doctor advises him to reconcile with Mahi. Mangal Singh's wife also persuades him to forgive Mahi and bring her back home. Mangal Singh sets off on a journey to bring Mahi back home and has to face many obstacles along the way.

The movie highlights the importance of family values and relationships. It portrays the struggle of an honest man trying to maintain his principles in a corrupt society. Saatwan Aasman delivers an important message about the negative consequences of materialism and how it can distort one's perception of life.

The lead actors have done a fabulous job, especially Vivek Mushran, who played the role of Mangal Singh with conviction. Pooja Bhatt's portrayal of Mahi was charming, and the chemistry between the two leads was endearing. Avtar Gill's character as Ajay Kapoor was the perfect antagonist and added a layer of complexity to the otherwise simple story.

The music of Saatwan Aasman was composed by Nadeem-Shravan and was a hit with the audiences. The song "Zindagi Ki Talash Mein" became an instant hit and is still popular among listeners.
