Watch Shin Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams

(Shin) Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is a computer animated compilation special from 2006. This film retells the events of the titular video game and utilizes all of the cutscenes from that game, as well as a few newly-animated ones, to tell the game's story from the perspective of Akane Yagyu. Akane is a girl who has gained the powers of an Oni through her grandfather influences and decided to join Soki, the game's protagonist, in order to destroy the demonic forces rampaging across the unified nation of Japan and to carry out a mission of honor for her own family.
