Where does music come from? This musical film follows the lives of two accomplished musicians who meet and fall in love, fall out of love and create great music along the way. Shot over a ten year period, award winning filmmaker Richard Martini follows jazz pianist Deron Johnson (played with Miles Davis, Alanis Morisette, Seal and others) and Monica Behan (couture designer, RCA recording artist) on their epic love story. The music they create is haunting, beautiful and each song reveals another chapter in their lives. Like "Once" this is a musical film shot in the tiny clubs and venues where true passion and some of the best music can be found.

Someone To Call My Own is a documentary with a runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes.
