Spark is a science fiction animated adventure movie that follows the journey of a teenage monkey named Spark (voiced by Jace Norman) as he tries to save his home planet from an evil power-hungry General Zhong (voiced by Alan C. Peterson), who wants to take control of the entire universe. Along with his friends Chunk (voiced by Rob deLeeuw), a tech-savvy wild boar, and Vix (voiced by Jessica Biel), a tough-talking fox, Spark embarks on an incredible adventure filled with action, humor, and heart.

The movie opens with a brief history of planet Bana, which was once a peaceful and prosperous place until the General Zhong destroyed it in a power-hungry bid for domination. The remnants of the planet are now scattered throughout the universe, with Bana City, the last remaining piece of the planet, being home to Spark and his friends.

As the story progresses, we learn that Spark is the son of a great warrior named Bananny (voiced by Patrick Stewart), who sacrificed his life to protect the planet from General Zhong. Spark is still struggling to come to terms with his father's death and is convinced that he is not capable of living up to his legacy. However, everything changes when Zhong returns and threatens to destroy Bana City.

With the help of Chunk and Vix, Spark sets out on a mission to find the legendary sword that his father had used to defeat Zhong in the past. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including monstrous aliens and treacherous space pirates, which they must overcome to continue their quest.

As Spark and his friends search for the sword, they also come face to face with Spark's own limitations and fears. He realizes that he cannot compete with his father's legacy, but must create his own path and live up to his potential. Meanwhile, Vix finds herself conflicted between her loyalty to her new friends and her own hidden agendas.

Eventually, Spark and his friends reach their destination, but things are not as straightforward as they seem. They discover that the sword is not just a weapon, but a powerful tool that can be used to harness the energy of the universe. Zhong also has his eyes set on the sword and will stop at nothing to obtain it.

The final act of the movie is filled with intense action, as Spark and his team face off against Zhong and his army. The fate of Bana City and the universe lies in their hands, and they must use all their skills and cunning to emerge victorious.

Overall, Spark is an enjoyable animated adventure movie that will appeal to both children and adults. The animation is top-notch, with vibrant colors, stunning landscapes, and detailed character designs. The voice acting is also excellent, with Jace Norman and Jessica Biel bringing their characters to life with the perfect blend of humor and emotion.

The story is relatively straightforward, with a clear hero's journey structure and a classic good vs. evil conflict. However, it is the characters that make the movie stand out. Each of them has a unique personality and backstory that adds depth and nuance to the narrative.

In conclusion, Spark is a fun and entertaining movie that is worth a watch. It may not break new ground in terms of storytelling, but it offers an engaging adventure with lovable characters, stunning animation, and plenty of thrills.
