This movie is about a young Chinese boy that has a serious problem of balancing his internal force against his external force. As a young child, Lu Chan was born with a small horn on his forehead, which leads to his nickname of “Freak”. While some people might call the strength he has as a gift, others call his gift a curse instead. This is the condition which puts his life at risk, and the only solution to this is to learn the martial arts in Chen village, which balances both external and internal forces. Making the journey to Chen village, Lu Chan learns that this village does not teach their fighting style to outsiders. The news discourages him a little, but a local is kind enough to give him moral support by telling him not to give up. Trying over again, Lu Chan is repeatedly beaten by everyone and told to leave. His problems are soon overpowered by a bigger problem that the village faces, and it seems that the only person that is capable of saving them is Lu Chan. Zijing who used to come from the village has been studying in Britain, impressed by the technology of the railway, and he decides that he wants to build a railway through the village and nothing will stand in his way. When the village refuses to let the railway be built, Zijing brings in a steam powered tank to force the locals to surrender. Seeing the village in trouble, Lu Chan sets out to destroy the war machine and bring peace back to the village. Setting out on this quest, he is joined by Yuniang who turns out to be the daughter of his master, but who is also engaged to Zijing. Action and spectacular moves are what this movie is about and no one will be disappointed by the amount of action this movie brings to the big screen.
