Take Point is a suspenseful action-thriller movie set amidst intense political turmoil. The film follows the story of Captain Ahab (Ha Jung-woo), a highly-skilled mercenary who is hired to lead a top-secret mission into North Korea. The mission is to capture and bring back to South Korea the North's supreme leader, Kim Jong-un. Ahab's team comprises a group of seasoned soldiers, including the highly-efficient Jang Young (Lee Sun-kyun). Their plan is to infiltrate North Korea through a secret underground tunnel that connects the two countries, which had been unearthed by a geologist friend of Ahab's.

The mission is risky and there's much at stake. Not only is there the danger of getting caught by the North Korean military, but Ahab and his team also have to deal with a rebel faction within their own government that wants to eliminate Kim Jong-un. As the team journeys deep into enemy territory, they soon realize that nothing is as it seems. Kim Jong-un appears to be hiding something significant under the burial mounds of his ancestors, and the mission takes on an entirely different direction.

As the mission starts to unravel, Ahab and his team are pushed to their limits. With time running out, they must make difficult choices that could mean life or death. With the realization that there are other forces at play, they start to question whether they're just pawns in a greater game, and they slowly uncover a conspiracy that changes everything about their mission.

Ha Jung-woo turns in a powerful performance as Captain Ahab, leading his team with a steely determination. Lee Sun-kyun offers a masterful portrayal of Jang Young, the second-in-command who is equally driven to ensure the success of the mission. Together, the two actors propel the movie with striking energy, with their characters bringing an intriguing sense of balance to the story.

Jennifer Ehle plays the role of the enigmatic CIA agent, McKenzie, who initially recruits Ahab and his team for the mission. As the story progresses, McKenzie's true motives start to come to light, and Ehle does an excellent job of conveying the ambiguity and mystery of her character.

The movie's setting is dark and tense, with the North Korean landscape lending an eerie atmosphere to the mission. The score is another standout element of the film, with composer Bang Jun-seok's music adding to the overall suspense and drama of the story.

The film's action sequences are well-choreographed and executed, with some thrilling moments interspersed throughout. The fight scenes, too, are impressive, with the fight choreographers bringing a sense of style and realism to the combat.

Overall, Take Point is an engaging action-thriller movie that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. The film's complex storyline and intriguing characters offer something to ponder long after the credits roll. It's a thrilling ride, and one that's worth taking.

Take Point is a 2018 action movie with a runtime of 2 hours and 4 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.4.
