Terry is a 2011 British crime drama film directed by Nick Nevern, who also stars in the film as the eponymous Terry. The film follows Terry, a small-time crook and drug dealer who is struggling to make ends meet in a rough part of London. When he is approached by a local gangster named Tony (Ian Duck), who offers him a job as a drug courier, Terry sees it as a chance to finally make some real money.

But as he becomes more deeply involved in the world of drugs and gang violence, Terry finds himself drawn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with both the police and rival gangs. Along the way, he begins to question his own morality and the choices he has made that have led him to this point.

The film is set against the gritty backdrop of London's criminal underworld, and the cinematography is appropriately dark and moody. The performances are also strong, with Nevern delivering a convincing portrayal of a man caught between his ambition and his conscience.

In addition to Nevern and Duck, the film also features solid supporting performances from Daniel Burten-Shaw as Terry's friend and fellow junkie, and Josef Altin as a rival gang leader.

One of the central themes of the film is the idea that in this world, there are no heroes or villains, only survivors. Terry is a flawed character, but he is also sympathetic in his struggles to escape poverty and find a better life for himself.

Overall, Terry is a well-made and absorbing crime drama that offers a glimpse into the harsh reality of life on the margins of society. Highly recommended for fans of gritty, character-driven cinema.
