Leatherface invites you to view his evolution from the unwanted child of a slaughterhouse worker to a monstrous cannibal. The Hewitts are the adoptive family to Thomas (AKA Leatherface), an unwanted child they found in a dumpster, destined to become their most bloodthirsty kin. He grows up with a mental disorder and physical deformities to become the terror of an isolated Texas town. The recently unemployed meat packing plant employee is extremely displeased when he no longer can chop up slabs into meat products. After airing his grievances brutally, he seeks more victims to continue his ghastly habits. He has no mercy when brothers Eric and Dean and their girlfriends are thrust into his path. Eric has already served in Vietnam and survived, but can he and his group survive the fury of Leatherface? Leatherface's homicidal father and self-appointed law man, Sheriff Hoyt, wants them for dinner. Their sanity is tested by the extreme sadism and revolting cannibalism of the Hewitt family. Eric, Dean, Christie and Bailey witness unspeakable terrors and evil during their fight for survival. This movie is a thrill ride for those familiar with the gruesome treatment that Leatherface has to offer.
