That's the Way I Like It is a Kung Fu dance film that was released in 1998. The film features a man by the name of Hock who is a lonely grocery store clerk living in Singapore. The boy wishes that he was able to meet a girl, was like his older brother Ben, and that he was the owner of a moped. Hock decides that the only way for him to change his life around is for him to hit the area’s local disco clubs and dance with the beautiful women there. This doesn’t sit well with some of the local gangs, but luckily Hock is able to defend himself thanks to his mastery of Kung Fu. The film That’s the Way I Like It was written and directed by Glen Goei. The character Hock is played by Adrian Pang. The film was filmed and released in Singapore, but there are versions featuring English subtitles. The film also features the hit song “That’s the Way I Like It” by KC and the Sunshine Band.
