The Crash Reel is a documentary that chronicles the 20-year career of professional skateboarder Kevin Pearce. Along the way it will highlight his great rivalry with skateboarding legend Shaun White. In particular, the documentary highlights one game-changing chapter in Pearce's life: a tragic accident, the resulting massive brain injury, and his epic comeback story. After the accident, Pearce's future looked bleak. He had suffered both memory and vision damage. In addition, his family became his constant caretakers.
