When a case comes across his desk involving a missing girl, Babbage is tasked with finding her. The girl, named Allison (played by Kristen Stewart), is a troubled teenager who has run away from home multiple times. Babbage enlists the help of a new recruit, a fresh-faced and idealistic officer named Allison Lowry (Claire Danes), to assist him in the search.
