The Garden of the Finzi-Cotinis covers the story of the Finzi and Cotini families, which were some of the leading families in Italy in the 1930s. Not only were they rich, aristocratic and extremely powerful, but they were also all Jewish. The movie covers the story of a young, middleclass Jew who falls in love with one of the adult children of these powerful families. In the end, politics become an issue when there's love involved.
