This is a dramatic movie about forbidden love. A teacher is facing a future marriage she is not sure she wants. When she begins coach the school soccer team, she falls for one of her students. Christina is a 22-year-old teacher at an Australian school in a Greek community. She is engaged to a lawyer and he has her life planned for her. She is unhappy with the future she sees herself living. Nick is a 17-year-old student at the school. He plays soccer as part of the school sports program.
When she is asked to coach the soccer team, she really begins to get to know her student. They fall in love, even though they are breaking all the rules.
