Sam, a young college student accepts a babysitting job that sounds too good to be true. Eager to earn money for an apartment she responds to an ad on campus. Though she soon learns the job may be more than she is able to handle. Once arriving at the Ulman’s house she learns there is more to the job than she first anticipated. It’s then that Mr. Ulman explains that there is no child living in the home, but that he and his wife are in need of a sitter to look over Mrs. Ulman's elderly mother. The family, in an effort to get out of the house for the eclipse, wrote the misleading advertisement after struggling to find someone to look after the elderly woman. After learning the truth about the job Sam is able to negotiate a better pay, but at a cost that could mean her life.
