Watch The Learning

This film is a documentary about four teachers from the Philippines who are recruited to teach in Baltimore. The Philippine's public schools were developed by teachers from the United States and this movie highlights the way our educational system has changed. The Filipino ladies are hoping to save money to send home to their families in the impoverished nation. But they face many disrespectful students and other challenges in the inner city school system found in Baltimore. It also exposes many of the issues faced by American schools and shows the positive and negative aspects of the educator's first year teaching in this country.
