The Olympic Ticket Scalper is a British comedy film from 2012 starring Sir Patrick Stewart, Simon Pegg, and Maisie Williams. The movie centers around Ray Jenkins (Simon Pegg), a ticket scalper who has been blacklisted from the Olympics after a previous mishap. With his reputation on the line and money to be made, Ray enlists the help of two unlikely allies - a teenage girl named Nikki (Maisie Williams) and a retired policeman named Terry (Patrick Stewart) - to help him score some tickets and redeem himself.

At the start of the movie, we see Ray receiving a harsh warning from the head of security at the Olympic Village - if he gets caught selling tickets again, he will be thrown in jail. Despite this, he is determined to make some money off of the games and knows that he needs to team up with some skilled partners if he's going to make it happen.

Enter Nikki, a young girl with a passion for the Olympics and a knack for hacking into ticketing systems. While Ray initially underestimates her abilities, she proves to be an invaluable asset to the team, able to secure rare tickets through her technical expertise.

Then there's Terry, a retired police officer who provides the muscle and know-how to help the team navigate the streets of London and avoid getting caught by the authorities. Patrick Stewart's portrayal of Terry is delightfully gruff and charming, and he provides some of the film's biggest laughs.

As the trio ventures deeper into the underground world of ticket scalping, they encounter a number of colorful characters, including a rival scalper played by Rufus Hound and a wealthy businessman played by Richard E. Grant. While the film's plot may seem formulaic, the chemistry between the three leads elevates the material and makes for an enjoyable 90 minutes.

One of the film's standout moments comes when the team is forced to improvise after their plan goes awry. In one hilarious sequence, Ray dresses up as a giant Olympic mascot and Nikki acts as his handler, leading him through the crowds undetected. The physical comedy in this scene is superb, and it's a testament to the actors' abilities that they're able to pull off such an absurd scenario with such finesse.

Overall, The Olympic Ticket Scalper is a fun, lighthearted comedy that serves as a showcase for its talented cast. While it may not break any new ground in terms of plot, it's worth watching for the witty banter and comedic timing of Pegg, Williams, and Stewart. Fans of British humor will find plenty to enjoy, and even those who are unfamiliar with the cast will likely find themselves charmed by the film's infectious energy.
