The Plague is a movie that portrayed a lot of terror in its scenes. The film is also known as Clive Barker's The Plague reason being that Clive Barker was also involved in its coproduction. The film all started when on a particular memorable day children who were of the age nine and below nine years of age all developed a long term and life threatening mental disorder known as catatonia. It was very devastating as even other children who were born after that period onwards were born with the disorder. Until about ten years after the outbreak of the disease, it still continued. All the children who were victims of this disorder experienced epileptic fits on a daily basis sometimes more than once every day. Some years later they developed the determination to murder all the adults that they came across. What aggravated the situation was that communication among the children was so easy and fast such that if one of them found out about something automatically the others would. This was as a result of the fact that due to the mental disorder their brains had been restructured to function collectively. This attribute made all the affected children to be very clever and their level of intelligence kept on increasing as the days went by. In their attempts to kill all the adults they devised different methods of getting through to them. Such as disassembling car engines and blocking the roads by placing barriers and obstacles on the roads so as to prevent their targets from getting away. They also attacked the adults by use of guns which they were very quick and efficient in learning how to use them. The adults on their part were busy struggling to look for ways to stop these children from destruction. The best way was to get a cure for the disorder and it was quite challenging to them. The film was written by Masonberg Minton and Teal Minton. It was directed by Hal Masonberg. Co-production of the film was done by Clive Barker. The characters in the film were played by well known actors and actresses. Such as James Van Der Beek who featured as Tom Russel, Ivana Mili?evi?, Brad Hunt, Joshua Close.
