Watch The Taming Of Shrew

This 1983 film directed by John Allison, presents English Elizabethan Era playwright William Shakespeare's timeless classic comedy about the battle of the sexes in a well crafted movie starring Karen Austin as Lady Katherine and Franklin Seales as Petruchio, her suitor and future husband (he hopes) in an arranged marriage. Katherine's father must marry Katherine off in order to be able to accept an attractive offer for the hand of his younger, more reserved daughter, Bianca. Katherine has a strong, outspoken nature and she does not respect male authority automatically. The plot revolves around Petruchio's strategies to win her compliance.
