Watch The Time Machine

The Time Machine is a science fiction film adapted from the H.G. Wells novel that follows the story of a young New York inventor, Alexander, who is playing with the thought of time travel. He decides to do research and actually verify his hypothesis when a sudden fatal tragedy happens to his fiance, Emma. This makes him hastily build a time machine to see if he can reverse time to save her. Unfortunately, his efforts are unmet, through additional tragic events that make him take a new direction instead. Alexander finds himself in the year 2030, where he again is looking to see if he can save Emma. He does his research in a library called Vox 114 where he is further convinced that time travel is indeed possible. He continues to confirm his point by traveling through to 2037. His adventure there continues with two foreign races, the Eloi and the Morlocks. He finds a new beginning with an Eloi woman named Mara who sends Alexander on another rescue quest to save her from the Morlocks who kidnapped her. Vox, a hybrid mechanical human, soon befriends him and assists him on his quest. Alexander soon discovers the answers he has been looking for and the mysterious truth behind the Eloi and Morlocks.

Science fiction fans may enjoy the computer generated time travel scenes, which is what the film is primarily made up of. There are a number of camera perspectives used throughout the film. The way the camera follows Alexander then pans through the city and out into space may mesmerize the audience. As they go through the entire film with Alexander, they may respect his adamant nature for trying to find a solution to this time travel phenomena while undergoing his own personal tragedies. The film is filled with drama, adventure and mystery as the audience finds out the universal human truth. The idea that dealing with the present will definitely affect the way the future will turn out.
