This is a horror movie about a garden gnome. When he hears the myth that gnomes will protect a home, a young husband accepts one as a gift. Brad and Penny have just gotten their own home. While on an errand, someone tells him about the legend of garden gnomes. They were originally made to protect homes from spirits and evil invaders. When the person tells him this, the new homeowner accepts the gnome he is given and brings it home to his wife.

They place the gnome in their garden. This is an evil creature, and it will do very bad things to protect its new garden.
