Triad is a 2012 Chinese-Hong Kong action film directed by Daniel Chan and starring William Chan, Michelle Wai, Patrick Tam, and Irene Wan. The film revolves around a young member of a triad gang named Jordy (William Chan) who becomes disillusioned with the lifestyle and seeks to leave the gang while also trying to protect a family member from the rival gangs. The story is set against a backdrop of the triad war between the "Wo Shing Society" and the "Dragon Head Union."

The film begins with the introduction of Jordy as a young boy who is brought into the triad organization by his uncle, who is a member of the Wo Shing Society. From there, the story jumps forward in time to show Jordy as a grown man who is now a respected member of the triad.

Jordy begins to question his allegiance to the triad when he is asked to kill a rival gang member. He has a change of heart and decides to leave the gang, fearing for his own safety and that of his family. However, he soon finds himself caught up in the triad war when his uncle is killed by members of the Dragon Head Union, a rival gang.

As the war intensifies, Jordy becomes the target of the Dragon Head Union, and he must use all of his skills, knowledge, and instincts to survive. Along the way, he teams up with a journalist named Jane (Michelle Wai) who is investigating the triad war for her newspaper. Jane is able to help Jordy in his quest to protect his family and also uncover the truth behind the war.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the Wo Shing Society and the Dragon Head Union are engaged in a brutal battle for supremacy, with both sides willing to go to extreme lengths to gain the upper hand. Patrick Tam plays the role of the Wo Shing Society leader, while Irene Wan plays the Dragon Head Union leader.

Throughout the film, Triad explores themes such as loyalty, honor, and betrayal. It also delves into the complex relationships between family members and the sacrifices they are willing to make for each other.

The action in Triad is intense and well-choreographed, featuring fist fights, gun battles, and car chases. The film also features impressive set pieces, including a scene set in a crowded market in Hong Kong, where Jordy is pursued by members of the Dragon Head Union.

Triad is a gripping and thrilling crime drama that keeps the audience on the edge of their seat from start to finish. The performances by the cast are top-notch, particularly William Chan, who brings depth and nuance to the role of Jordy. The film has a strong sense of tension and danger throughout, making it a must-see for fans of the crime thriller genre.
