"Tunnel War" (1965) is also known as "Tunnel Warfare." It's a Chinese movie set during World War II. In it, a small town uses a network of tunnels to fight off Japanese invaders. Some of the townspeople were guerrilla warriors who used the tunnels to elude the Japanese, who would retaliate by pouring water into the tunnel or sending smoke or poison gas into the tunnels.
