Watch Up

Up is a film about two young kids who discover their love for visiting some of the most exotic places. The girl in the couple, young Ellie, has a dream of visiting the beautiful hotelier and wild side of South America. Having grown up with Ed, they have been together for years, and they grew old together and eventually Ellie passed away without ever getting the chance of seeing those wonderful places which she has always wanted to visit. The story continues on showing how Ed begins to travel using the power of his balloons from his balloon stand to bring his home to one of Ellie's most favorite places. He ends up bringing along a young kid named Carl who literally ends up flying with Ed to different South American destinations. He tries to explore and experience newer places with Ed. Carl wound up with Ed after trying to capture his badge for helping the elderly, as he was a part of the Boy Scouts. Ed, who once tried to ignore Carl, ended up struggling and having to bring along Carl with him. The story takes on the story of how a man tries to help make his beautiful wife's dreams come true. He tries to bring her and their house to her most favorite places. Those who have lost a loved one will find this movie to be tremendously beautiful. The movie is very touching and shows how far one person may go when it all comes down to helping a loved one make her dreams come true. Up showcases the story of young Carl and Ed, and how fate brought the both of them together to make both of their goals and dreams come true. The movie has been considered as sad and lonely, but the movie delivers on those sad aspects in a good and child friendly way. Disney knows how to make good movies and deliver a child film with maturity and an adult like setting.
