

The premise of this story is that a group of monsters work for a company and are assigned to collect scrams by invading the homes of children. They usually enter the child's home via closet portal. However the monsters begin to have fears of doing this task because they believe that the children are toxic. Over the course of the film, the monsters realize that scaring the children is not beneficial and therefore decide to change their strategy and tasks. They also find out that children are not toxic and are therefore safe. In the end the monsters decide to entertain children instead of scaring them.
