Lieutenant Nancy Sheppard and internal affairs officer is investigating Lieutenant Samuel Hawkins, for being accused of throwing a vampire off a building to his death. Lt. Hawkins is under a lot of stress and pressure and is very difficult to work with. Hawkins and his partner Sgt. Jack Nelson had been tracking a vampire (Brenda Luck) for weeks and finally have her in custody.
