Vansh is a Bollywood drama film released in 1992. It is directed by Pappu Verma and produced by Pappu Verma and Vinay Kumar Sinha. The movie features an ensemble cast of Sudesh Berry, Anupam Kher, Amrish Puri, and Ekta Sohini in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Kader Khan, Siddharth Ray, and Reema Lagoo. The story of Vansh revolves around two brothers, namely, Vicky and Raja. While Vicky (played by Sudesh Berry) is the elder brother who is ambitious and dynamic, Raja (played by Siddharth Ray) is the younger brother who is innocent and simple-minded. Their father, Thakur Bhavani Singh (played by Amrish Puri), is a wealthy landlord who is respected and feared by villagers.

Vicky has always been the favorite son of his father and the apple of his eye. He is ambitious and wants to succeed in life at any cost. Raja, on the other hand, is content with his simple life and does not have any grand aspirations. Vicky gets involved in illegal activities to make money and becomes a dreaded criminal.

Things take a turn when Vicky falls in love with Preeti (played by Ekta Sohini), the daughter of Thakur's enemy, Chaudhary Ajit Singh (played by Anupam Kher). Thakur Bhavani Singh is strictly against this relationship and forbids Vicky from seeing Preeti. However, Vicky is determined to marry Preeti and goes against his father's wishes.

In the meantime, Raja falls in love with Preeti's younger sister, Anita (played by Ishrat Ali). Thakur Bhavani Singh is pleased with this relationship and agrees to get Raja and Anita married. However, Vicky's relationship with Preeti leads to a series of unfortunate events that turn the relationship between the two brothers bitter.

The movie portrays the complex relationships between families and how they are affected by love, greed, and jealousy. The story explores the themes of sibling rivalry, family values, and the consequences of one's actions.

The performances of the cast are noteworthy, especially Sudesh Berry and Anupam Kher who put up a great show with their powerful performances. The chemistry between Sudesh Berry and Ekta Sohini is also impressive. The movie features some great songs composed by Anand-Milind, including the popular tracks 'Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyar Hum' and 'Na Jaane Mera Kya Hoga'.

Overall, Vansh is an engaging drama that keeps the viewers hooked till the end. The direction, screenplay, and cinematography are commendable. The story is a perfect blend of romance, action, and drama that makes it a must-watch for Bollywood movie lovers.
