Watch We Are Legion: The Story Of The Hacktivists

This documentary film concerns itself with telling the story of "Anonymous" a loose, international network of activists and computer hackers who try to influence the world through activities regarded as disruptive, and in some jurisdictions illegal. The story of Anonymous is seen through the eyes of observers who are there during the major turning points and "operations" in the history of Anonymous. Angered by the many issues which they see as social injustices, the group organizes online cyber-attacks and offline protests against police brutality, censorship, fake religions acting as for-profit enterprises and other "evil-doers."

The film demonstrates the influence of Anonymous in the Arab Spring movement as well as the Occupy Wall Street movement that rose up after the financial crisis of 2008-2009.
