Wild at Heart

In the movie Wild At Heart, there is a girl named Lula who has a mother only a daughter could love. Lula begins dating a man named Sailor who was recently released from jail. Her mother does not like this idea, and she tries to do everything possible to stop the relationship. Sailor, who is on probation after being released, decides to go with Lula to California.

In a Romeo and Juliet setting, Lula’s mother hires someone to track down her daughter and try to kill Sailor, and if needed, her daughter. The pair does not know about these events, and they seem to enjoy their time together traveling through the state of California. One of the things that the pair sees while on their journey is a woman dying after being in a car accident. This could be the first bad sign they see on their trip, but there is much more to deal with before they decide to stop being wild at heart.
