With Love... From the Age of Reason is a romantic comedy-drama that was released in 2010. The movie stars Sophie Marceau as Margaret, an extremely successful businesswoman who suddenly finds herself questioning the choices she's made in life. She has a high-profile career, lives in a fabulous penthouse in Paris, and is not lacking in the romance department, but she feels something is missing.

Margaret is a fiercely independent woman who always puts her work first. She is a tough negotiator and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. However, on her 40th birthday, she receives a letter from a former lover telling her that ten years ago she made a pact with him that stated by the time she turned 40, she would track him down, spend a day with him, and decide whether to give up her current life to be with him.

Margaret is taken aback by the letter and is hesitant to follow through. However, her curiosity gets the better of her, and she decides to take a day off work and track down her former lover. But when she eventually finds him, she realizes that he is not the man she thought he would be. She then embarks on a journey that takes her on an emotional rollercoaster ride as she revisits her past and tries to figure out what she wants for her future.

One of the main themes of the movie is the importance of striking a work-life balance. Margaret is a workaholic who has dedicated her life to her career. She knows how to get what she wants and is not afraid to work hard to achieve her goals. However, as the movie progresses, she realizes that she has missed out on some of life's experiences, such as having a family and spending quality time with loved ones.

Another theme is the idea of second chances. Margaret's encounter with her former lover forces her to reassess her life and make decisions based on her current situation rather than on her past mistakes. The movie shows that it is never too late to start over and that everyone deserves a second chance at happiness.

The chemistry between Sophie Marceau and Marton Csokas, who plays Margaret's former lover, is excellent. Csokas does an admirable job of portraying a man who has moved on with his life but is still drawn to Margaret. His character is a much-needed contrast to Margaret, who is always in control and knows what she wants.

Michel Duchaussoy's performance as Margaret's boss is noteworthy, as he adds a touch of humor to the movie. His character is constantly trying to find ways to get Margaret back to work, and his antics provide some of the movie's funniest moments.

With Love... From the Age of Reason has stunning visuals that showcase Paris in all its glory. The breathtaking scenery provides a beautiful backdrop for the movie and adds an extra layer of romance to Margaret's journey.

One of the movie's strengths is its ability to balance comedy and drama. It has its fair share of laugh-out-loud moments, but it also deals with some weighty issues such as regret, loss, and the fear of change. The pacing of the movie is excellent, and the storyline never feels rushed or dragged out.

Overall, With Love... From the Age of Reason is a charming and heartwarming movie that will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. It is a must-watch for fans of romantic comedies who are looking for a movie that is both funny and thought-provoking.
