The plot of the film follows Glenda Spencer, a famed historical expert in ancient Egyptian. When she arrives the electrical outlets are all going haywire and a strange chill is in the air; something sinister is afoot. The curator tells Spencer that the strange events began occurring after they opened one of the newest additions to the collection, a coffin that the Egyptologist knows to contain the diabolical spirit of the demon, Balphegor.
