The movie begins with Amy living a normal, everyday life. There is nothing special about her life, until a new guy shows up in town and she starts to fall for him. His name is Dan, he is a loner, and does not show any amicable feelings towards Amy. She keeps trying, and her friends keep insisting, but her feelings get hurt by Dan's lack of interest. This causes him to feel bad about the way he has been acting towards her. He tries to make up for everything by offering her a ride home one night. This helps, but Amy's father does not like Dan. Despite the way her father feels, Amy and Dan hang out more and more to get to know each other. It is at this time that Dan's father is shown killing people in another town, and then he begins to make his way to where Dan is now. When his dad shows up in town he kills some animals, and the police confirm these killings relate to other killings that occurred out of town. A mysterious man eventually helps the police out by revealing that the man is a werewolf that has been arrested before, but that is not enough to stop him. He has the power to break out and cause whatever harm he wants.
