16. Top 10 Games, Final Retro-Challenge, Wii Sports and Rock Band

As the series and year wraps up, the boys look at the top 5 video and board/card games of the year. What made their cut, which were not up to scratch? After 15 celebrities, game designers and entertainers have battled through the Retro Video Game Challenge, it seemed fitting that eventually the boys would have to also. Taking on the challenge themselves, who's points will put them first?

The latest instalment of the craziest gaming show around kicks off with Jim old lady hunting in the hugely anticipated Far Cry 4. Jim explores the breathtaking terrain and gameplay alongside the repercussions for gunning down geriatrics. Next the boys look at Super Smash Brothers and ask is it the next big thing or a marketing gimmick.

Rivet Wars, Greg and Jim play-through and review this Great War inspired miniatures/board game hybrid, whilst constantly pondering just how replayable is it? The Boredometer answers this query. From warring in eastern Europe to warring on the streets, Jim next has a look at Grand Theft Auto V.

13. Dropzone Commander, Star Wars Kinect, Sci-Fi Classics

Join us as the boys beam on board for an episode of sci-fi silliness. Jim and Greg kick off proceedings with a play-through and review of miniature game Dropzone Commander. With input from Game designer David J. Lewis, we explore this new universe and the warring factions within. Next it's Star Wars versus Star Fleet as the boys compete to be dominant on the pod racing fields in Kinect: Star Wars

12. Robinson Crusoe, Mario Kart, Black Friday Buyer's Guide and Future Duck

Thankfully Greg has returned to the studio having recently being marooned on a distant island, where along with a chavvy talking gym ball, discovered the delights to be had in the Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island board game. Having survived the ordeal he take on Jim in a head to head racing challenge in Mario Kart 8.

11. CoD Advanced Warfare, Octodad and Muhammed Ali

Jim kicks off looking at the latest instalment of the franchise Call of Duty: Advance Warfare. The boys continue looking at this release with a play-through in local co-op mode against endless bad guys. Luckily Jim has some mad skills to counteract Greg's bullet magnet tendencies. For this week's challenge Greg welcomes back mas-ter-of-mayhem Zak Owen to confront Jim in a test of dexterity.

10. Sunset Overdrive, Velocity 2X, Apples Vs. Oranges and Futurlab

Jim is in "completely bonkers" mode as he explores the world of Sunset Overdrive. He discusses the strengths and weakness' of this third person, openworld slightly trippy experience. Not slowing down, Jim continues at 2 x velocity in Velocity 2X, paling in comparison as games designer James Marsden shows the boys how to really do it, in this exciting play-through.

9. The P.T. Project, Crimson Land, Five Nights at Freddies and Stranglers

Jim and Greg look at the less subtle Crimsonland, an intriguing indie game that sees the player painting the scenery a nice hue of red! The boys try to remain in control as the difficulty ramps up. Following this bloody onslaught is the deceptively simple but terrifyingly effective Five Nights at Freddies. Can Jim make it through the night? Will his trousers remain unsoiled?

This weeks challenge see Jim and Greg face off as they battle through numerous henchmen in a level of the classic Ark-ham Asylum. Who is the better Batman? Who is the combo-tastic king? Next the boys don their dicky-bows to take on the world of Disney Fantasia.

6. Marvel Dice Masters, Indy Games, Brotherhood and Clay

With the latest love of all things Marvel, Greg demonstrates the game that helps you feel that your part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - sort of. Next the boys explore some of the less well known indie titles on display at EGX. Explor-ing leptons, gluons and the mysterious Higgs Boson Jim meets the creator of Shrodinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark.

5. EGX, Forza Horizon 2,Alien Isolation and Retro

Bringing you the latest technology and games, Greg and Jim refuse to let the sheer enormity of the task defeat them. In this week's challenge Jim races in a head to head race against fighter jets in the anticipated release Forza Horizon 2. Correctly identifying the jets as "very fast indeed..." will - the somewhat understating the obvious - Jim stand a chance?

4. Awesomeness, Sons of Anarchy, Sports Friends and Doom

Greg kicks off the fourth outing with a look at the Sons of Anarchy board game based on the hugely popular TV show. Considering its strengths as well as it's shortcomings he will, as is the norm, assign it a star and Boredome-ter rating. For this episode's quick look, the boys face off in the quirky and wacky Sportsfriends video game.

3. Destiny, Project CARS, Skateboarding and Girls

Back with another episode of "gleeful gaming goodness", Jim kicks everything off with a look at the multi-world first person shooter Destiny. With an almost philosophical look at the hugely anticipated game, he defends his strange decision to not offer a review rating at the end! The boys then delve into the racing world of Project Cars, as Jim expertly guides us through the stunning visuals

2. Gamescom, Minecraft, FIFA and Magic

The second instalment kicks off with Jim battling the clock as he faces the mammoth task of summarising the Eu-ropean gaming show Gamescom in a concise and humorous way. Rattling through the highlights he takes individ-ual looks at the best of what both Microsoft and Sony have to offer. Next the boys have a quick play-through of the global sensation that is Minecraft.

1. REDUX SEASON 1

In the first episode of Bored Gamers Redux Jim and Greg introduce the audience to the show that encompasses all gaming. Jim reviews The Last Of Us: Remastered taking a look at the original instant classic and considering what the remastering brings to the new version. The game goes on to set the benchmark for future reviews gaining a per-fect 5 star and Boredometer score.
