The Mariners tried to mount another comeback in the bottom of the 11th, with Fraley hitting yet another RBI single. However, it wasn't enough, and the Red Sox held on for the 8-6 win, much to the delight of their fans in the stadium and watching from home.

Overall, it was an exciting and tightly contested game between two talented teams, with plenty of great pitching, hitting, and fielding on display.
